Once the installation in complete, we offer annual servicing and maintenance to ensure that the boiler keep on operating at the optimum level. Not only does this keep running costs low, but it allows us to examine the installation and make sure costly problems are not developing over time.
At Thermalife we like to promote planned preventative maintenance rather than emergency breakdown work. Not only does it keep costs down, but it means your boiler should continute to operate constantly and without interruption.
We also install Boiler+ approved boiler controls to help your system work as efficiently as possible and allowing you to control your system whichever way suits you best.
Boiler & heating controls
To make the most out of your central heating system, you need to be able to control it. There are a number of ways to do this and they depend on the way you want your system to work. We offer a range of controls from timeclocks to smart thermostats.

If you want to control your system manually, an onboard timeclock and room thermostat are the simplest options. This allows you to turn the heating on as you please, and set timings in advance.
If you want to be able to control your heating remotely, there are a number of smart thermostats available from companies such as Nest and Hive. When connected to the internet, these thermostats allow you to control your heating system via your smartphone, allowig you to turn on the system before you get home. Some thermostats even offer learning functions, whereby they can learn your routine and control your heating accordingly.
As of 2018, the Boiler+ regulations require additional controls to improve the efficiency of new systems. We can help you decide which type of controls are best for you, to make the best use of your new or existing heating system.
Unvented hot water cylinders
Unvented cylinders are an ideal solution for larger properties with more than one bathroom. Installed with a system boiler, they can provide enough hot water for busy households at peak times, when multiple bathrooms are in use. The hot water is stored in the unvented cylinder, giving extra capacity so you never run out.
Theramlife are qualified to install unvented cylinders and work with manufacturers including Vaillant, Megaflo, Ideal and Joule. Depending on the size of your property, we can choose and install the cylinder to meet your needs for storage, balanced with cost and efficiency.

Unvented cylinders with built-in immersion heaters are also a great backup in case your boiler is not working. Just turn on the immersion and you can heat the cylinder, providing you with hot water while your boiler is fixed.
